Both of these were alternates for 38/365. I initially considered a picnic scene, as I needed to shoot “Spring color” images for school. I then thought of Laura Letinsky, and her amazing images that overtly tell us that people were once in this place. Of course, I have nothing close to her delicate touch and amazing grace, but that’s an entirely different matter. I just need to practice that lack of grace I guess.

We are very much into the works of the Italian artist Silvia Pelissero this morning, who was born in Rome in 1991. The works drip and bleed onto figurative characters, with almost rainbow blasts and dreams come to life. We like how some of the works have that double-exposure effect to them.

While browsing the antique store today, I came across so many old photographs. For an unexplainable reason, I found myself transfixed by them, and looked through countless piles of little lost memories. I picked these ones up, but there were so many more that I really wanted.
